100% of fees and donations made from this fundraiser go toward Whispering Canyons' horses, their care, and training.   We have no paid offices, only amazing people who volunteer their time and resources.  

There is something for everyone at the Pony Express Obstacle Run; vendor shopping, horse obstacle runs for both spectators and riders, great food, and more.  We welcome all to come; it is going to be a fantastic event!   Check-in and same-day registration starts at 8am on September 14th.

Update:

• A one hour practice session will be available the day of the event, September 14th, from 8am - 9am.  The fee for this session is only $10 and can only be paid for at the event. 
• Novice are riders who have never won an event, never been paid for lessons, or never earned money for their horsemanship skills.
• Advanced riders are those who have won events, earned money through paid lessons, or have earned money for their horsemanship skills. 

This event gives riders, age 18 and under, and their horses the opportunity to compete for some great prizes. Our Buckaroo course consists of 11 obstacles, which include carrying water, side passing, dropping balls in buckets, wrestling cowboys and indians, and carrying a flag to victory! But don’t forget that mail! Be the fastest to deliver the mailbag while completing all obstacles and Win!

THIS IS A TIMED EVENT/POINTS EVENT

GOAL: When riding this event, Horse and Rider will aim for the FASTEST TIME and HIGHEST POINTS.

The Pony Express course is for Novice riders, age 12 and up, who want to challenge themselves and their horses. This is a great chance to see what your horse can do what to work with them on for the future. In this event you will face pool noodles, tarps, tires, bridges, tunnels, and much more as you race that mail to the finish! First one over all the obstacles and to ring the bell wins!

THIS IS A TIMED/ POINTS EVENT

GOAL: When riding this event, Horse and Rider will aim for the FASTEST TIME and HIGHEST POINTS.

The Wild West Challenge is for Advanced riders, ages 14 and up, who want to challenge themselves and their horse’s capability of agility and speed, as they race through the course to reach their final destination. In this event you will face pool noodles, tarps, tires, bridges, tunnels, and much more as you race that mail to the finish! First one over all the obstacles and to ring the bell wins!

      Advanced Level: Belt Buckle

THIS IS A TIMED/ POINTS EVENT

GOAL: When riding this event, Horse and Rider will aim for the FASTEST TIME and HIGHEST POINTS.

This event will receive CASH PRIZES! Our Jackpot Finale is open to all who can take their horses to the heart of the Wild West. Run through the guns, hang man, jumps, and carry that flag to victory to win our ONLY CASH PRIZE EVENT!

$20 to enter this event.

$5 of all entries will be donated to Whisper Canyons Foundation to help support the program and horses that work so hard to keep this foundation going.

ALL OTHER AMOUNTS WILL GO TOWARD WINNINGS!
