Howdy there folks, Hoss the Horse here once again! This has been some year. We have had to change the way we all meet together and how we all train. It has been very different and strange for us all. But we all are still training and some are plannin' on goin' to the first 4-H show of the summer. Last year we had a ton of ribbons won durin' the shows with all our girls; we were swimmin' in a sea of Blue, Red, and White ribbons. It was beautiful. This year will be great too. We will be goin' to the Harry Horse Shows and the Whispering Canyons Obstacle Course Runs too.
I want to give a big YEEEHAAW to our trainers, Marsi and Felicia,
who came to our ranch and help our teams
be ready for this summers fun.
We also have some amazin' fundraiser planned for this year that are goin' to be some dirt kickin' fun. Come and join the fun!!
July 2020: Obstacle Training Days
October 2020: The Halloween Carnival
Just in case you were wonderin’, we now have 21 teenage girls that are currently enrolled in the program out here and each of us horses are assigned to our very own lady. As we work together as a girl/horse team we learn together and work together to do amazing things. Our girls also learn self discipline, as well as courage, the value of hard work, and that doin' hard things can be fun.
If you to wish to volunteer, we are always lookin' for help. We love having church youth groups, eagle scouts, private contractors, local businesses, university students, trainers, or just anybody with a love and/or passion for horses and a desire to help our youth. Give us a call to schedule a time to come on out and help. If you don’t have the time to come out and volunteer you might consider sponsoring a girl or donating goods or services as they are always much needed and appreciated. All them there donations are tax exempt seeing as how we are a non-profit organization and all of the donations go toward the horses and their training. We have no paid employees; all our help comes from you great volunteers.
Here are some things we are always in need of around these here parts…
