Merry Christmas folks! Hoss the Horse here once again. This has been a crazy year with Covid-19 and all the changes that that brought. We had to change our ranch times so not all of our girls would be at the ranch at the same time. This made it more safe for them, cause you all know how much we horses love our girls and would do jus' about anything to keep 'em safe. We all are still training and we did pretty darn good in our 4-H competitons. We won ton of ribbons with all our girls; we were swimmin' in a sea of Blue, Red, and White ribbons. It was beautiful. We will be goin' to the Harry Horse Shows when it starts in January. Our ranch is startin' to get quite cold though so some of our trainin' is slowing down but we get to go to the 4-H ride nights of Wednesday and ride in a nice, indoor arena. It is nice to have a break from the outside cold sometimes.
We are lookin' for some experienced trainers so if you
know any will you give a shout out for us.
We also want to give a special shout out to those who have helped us
the last few months:
Some of our girls are in need of some extra winter things. We are ok if they are used too; we are happy with any help we can get. We want our girls to be warm so they can help us horses be the best we can be:
Warm coats for working with the horses in all sizes
Show pants in all sizes
Warm thick gloves for cleaning stalls
Warm thin gloves for riding horses
Warm winter hats
Ice Fishing Sleds (Wheelbarrows are hard to use in the snow)
If you to wish to volunteer, we are always lookin' for help. We love having church youth groups, eagle scouts, private contractors, local businesses, university students, trainers, or just anybody with a love and/or passion for horses and a desire to help our youth. Give us a call to schedule a time to come on out and help. If you don’t have the time to come out and volunteer you might consider sponsoring a girl or donating goods or services as they are always much needed and appreciated. All them there donations are tax exempt seeing as how we are a non-profit organization and all of the donations go toward the horses and their training. We have no paid employees; all our help comes from you great volunteers.
Here are some things we are always in need of around these here parts…
