Howdy there folks, Hoss the Horse here! I suppose it's here time I update ya'll about our comin's and goin's. We have been crazy busy this summer. We have been workin' hard with our girls in our 4-H competitions. We added some new horses and girls to our bunch. We have someone who loves facebook and has added some fantastic news and day to days to our facebook site. And...we also have some amazin' fundraiser planned for September 29th and October 13th that are goin' to be some dirt kickin' fun.
Just in case you were wonderin’, we now have 16 teenage girls that are currently enrolled in the program out here, and each of us horses are assigned to our very own lady. As we work together as a girl/horse team we learn together and work together to do amazing things. Our girls also learn self discipline, as well as lcourage, the value of hard work, and that doin' hard things can be fun.
Keep your eyes peeled for our upcomin' fundraisers. Go to the events page for all the information.
I want to give a big YEEEHAAW to the many helpers we have had who have painted our stalls, bought us new hay, cleaned up our ranch, and many many other amazin' things. They are so special and we really love them.
If you too wish to volunteer, we are always lookin' for more. We love having church youth groups, eagle scouts, private contractors, local businesses, university students, trainers, or just anybody with a love and/or passion for horses and a desire to help our youth. Give us a call to schedule a time to come on out and help. If you don’t have the time to come out and volunteer you might consider sponsoring a girl or donating goods or services as they are always much needed and appreciated. All them there donations are tax exempt seeing as how we are a non-profit organization and all of the donations go toward the girls and their horses.
Here are some things we are always in need of around these here parts…
Thanks for readin' and hope to hear from some of ya real soon. Well, it's time for me to hit the hay, More next month ya'll!
